This name, in the dialect of Romagna indicates the place where swallows nest. The vineyard is planted close to a cliff in whose ravines swallows make their nests.
The vineyard, planted in 1988, has a surface area of 0.3 hectares.
Grapes are picked by hand in the first decade of September and are transported to the winery without the addition of sulphur dioxide or other substances.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, spontaneously without the addition of yeasts. The wine matures for six months in small steel vats before being bottled.
The colour of the wine is straw yellow and a certain density can be seen by swirling the wine in the glass. It has strong and distinctive olfactory characteristics, with hints of exotic fruit, chestnut honey, minerals and chamomile.
In the mouth it shows viscosity, good density and persistence.
